Here To Be Heard: 10,000 voices to shape an inclusive society for all women

At Mars, their purpose is defined as - the world we want tomorrow starts with how we do business today. And that means a world with inclusive societies. In 2021, their gender-focused, action-led program ‘Full Potential’ took another important step on that journey through the simple act of listening. We know women have the power to contribute up to $28 trillion more to the global GDP if only their full potential was realised. Yet in today’s society, women’s voices still go unheard – and on the occasion they are heard, they’re certainly not representative of all women. Women of all races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, ages, religions, abilities, parenthood, socio-economic status, and more. #HereToBeHeard aimed to change that, with an insightful and impactful audio-led activation that carved a new path for corporate communications on the topic. The result was a robust and rigorous global listening study and report, that amplified the voices of 10,319 women worldwide, captured the hearts of over 135,000 of the businesses employees and, most importantly, ignited new business actions towards a more gender inclusive world for years to come.
