Social media has made it much more common to display photos of children. However, parents forget that the content they post are not only seen by family and friends... 50% of the photos posted on child pornography forums are pictures taken by parents and publicly shared on social media.

This new landscape has compelled L’Enfant Bleu, a French association that fights against child abuse to address this new risk for children in the digital space.

L’Enfant Bleu presents The Hidden Story.

When parents read this book with their child, they discover together the cute story of Emma's teddy bear. It is so cute that Emma's mother can't help but take a photo and share it on her social media, but the photo travelled around the world and fell into the hands of teddy bears enthusiasts.

The book invites parents to re-read the story from a new perspective, mentally replacing the teddy bear photo with that of their own child. Sitting next to each other, parents realize that this teddy bear’s fans are in reality online pedophiles hijacking their photos.

A few weeks later, France became the first country in the world to pass a law ensuring the protection of children's image rights.
